At the base of The Elizabeth sits a foundation of supportive springs with reinforced edge support that conforms to your body’s movements. Sitting atop this breathable innerspring base are two comfort layers: a firm high-density transition foam for stability and a more plush comfort foam on top for enhanced pressure relief.

Ostermoor & Company was founded in 1853 in a bustling Manhattan neighborhood known today as Nolita. At a time when mattresses were made with horsehair or straw, Ostermoor mattresses were “built not stuffed” by hand, meticulously designed with layers of innovative and comfortable materials that could stand the test of time.
Shipping is complimentary via UPS Standard Shipping. Ostermoor mattresses arrive neatly packed in an air-sealed box. For ease of unboxing, a helping hand is recommended. Once removed from the packaging, the mattresses will quickly recover and can be used immediately, but may take up to 48 hours to expand fully.
